Whom Team Coaching is for

Team Coaching is offered to a group of peers and their leader, but it is equally beneficial for work teams with collaborative or flexible leadership. It differs from Group Coaching in terms of the process of achieving the common goal, as in Team Coaching the team co-operates and interacts for the achievement.

How Goal-Setting works in Team Coaching

The goal in a Team Coaching intervention is co-created by the Sponsoring Organisation and the leader and/ or the team and focuses primarily on the process and secondarily on the scope of its work. That is, it is the way the team members interact that changes along the path to achievement, essentially improving the team as an entity beyond the outcome per se and cultivating patterns of thinking and behaviour that are beneficial throughout the life of the team.

What makes Team Coaching essential

Contemporary demands in terms of performance and productivity tend to exceed the individual potential of even the most charismatic leader; the team as a system now meets these demands with its qualitatively and quantitatively superior performance thanks to the dynamics and synergy that develop within it..

Like individual behavior, group behavior is characterized by repeated patterns that sometimes benefit its goals and sometimes do not. However, change at the collective/ group level is met with greater resistance than individual change.

For these reasons, Team Coaching has emerged today as the most targeted and effective intervention towards collective change, while it should not be confused with team training, team building or team development.
